Greetings on this afternoon of Christmas Eve! We started our day as a trio of Christmas Cookie delivery elves bringing cookies to all the neighbors of East Friess Lake Drive! First time for everything this recovery period...My first time making Christmas cookies (let's say that they might taste great but my design skills could use some work!) Special thanks to my fellow elves, Raj & Sherry for their baking, frosting, and delivery support.
Cookie assortments included:
Chocolate Chip Sea Salt Shortbread Cookies
Heather Smith's Grandmas White Cookie Recipe
Good 'Ole Fashion Sugar cookies - cutout in snowflakes, Christmas trees, hearts, stars, and snowmen

During this holiday season the generosity we've received from the massive community of loving friends and family has been so incredible - and I know without a doubt a huge part of what's helped this recovery along!
Some very thoughtful and delicious treats have arrived at our doorstep these past few days...
I'm so so so grateful for all these special treats and these even more special people:
Thanks to Linda, Rivka, Marilyn, and Amy for these AMAZING mugs that allow Sherry and I to feel like we are AT Luke's in Stars Hollow, CT (right alongside Lorelai and Rory).

Thanks Adam Lioz for bring the restaurants we love to us - if we can't go to the restaurants! Delicious IMPOSSIBLE burger cheesecakes, and MomuFuku dinners to name a few!

Jacki Krashin for a package full of engagement and wedding planning goodies
Ann James for sending us the yummiest waffles with delicious toppings
Adam Ruben for a super cool candle-making kit to expand the list of activities during this extended quarantine!
My brothers friends for sending me the coolest LIVING THE DREAM beaded bracelet
Fresh baked cookies from my cousin Laura & Gabriel
Good Fortune (cookies) from the amazing Francine & Julie Hermelin sister
Cozy jammies from
My Uncle Nolan for making sure we have enough chocolate to last the rest of this recovery and then some!!
Delicious soup from Gabby, Lydia, & Dave
A visit from my Uncle Tom yesterday - a chance to meet his girlfriend, and a special drop-off of flowers and chocolates.

And about a million more special cards, packages, voicemails, text messages, and through the patio window visits!!
What's Entertaining Us
Stevie Wonder Christmas is on the Sonos (Greatest Christmas Album ever, and perhaps the only only that will be played in this house)
Raj is building a roaring fire

We are all lamenting and laughing at just how AWFUL House of Gucci was, despite so much anticipation...Milly came over for the first time (and was on her best behavior staying away from, as I still cannot pet or touch her, but am cleared for her to be around!) She also thought House of Gucci was a real snooze, and she slept through most of it...

* Some in this house are quite excited to dive in Emily in Paris, Season 2 - others not so much
We have 10 days ahead of us with Zero plans, obligations, and probably at least 25 movies and a few series to watch...
Health Update:
More than a month in I can say I am starting to get a bit more actual energy back
Less anxiety knowing that I've at least passed the first milestone on blood-counts, and now very anxious to continue to improve so that vaccinations are in my future
Longing to feel "normal again" and taking comfort in knowing that we are doing everything possible every day for that to be possible
Glad that I have a family so willing to be in "IN THIS" with me - and keep my safe and supported during this insanely scary Omicron surge
Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate, and Happy Movie Watching & Chinese Food Eating to the rest of you!!!
