Latkes & Chana Masala were on the menu this evening for this household of Hin-Jews :) Raj made his mom's famous Chola, and Jim fried up latkes to kick of this Festival of Lights and Celebration of Miracles.

A Packers victory was in sight as we lit the menorah and exchanged a few gifts...

Raj and I couldn't be more excited to be sending Jim and Sherry to Hawaii once this long recovery is over...We gifted them some critical gear for their upcoming trip :)
Health Update:
Third day of outdoor walking in the books - and Yes its FREEZING here :)
Energy levels are still pretty low, and the caretaker team might say I was a bit crabby today (thankful for everyone's patience)
No infections, no fevers..
Slow and steady will win the race...Too bad slow and steady are not my normal mode of operation.
Can't imagine what this would be like WITHOUT Zofran, may need to double the dose!
Today I'm Grateful For:
The chance to celebrate miracles, whether it was the oil lasting 8 nights when it should have only lasted for 1 night, or its the miracle of living through a 3rd bone marrow transplant- MIRACLES ARE WORTH BELIEVING IN AND CELEBRATING
The love language of gift-giving. I'm not saying this is the best love language, or my only one, but I really do LOVE giving meaningful gifts to those I love (I have Jim Tolkan to thank for showing me the ropes on this one!)
Reasons to celebrate - Its been a weekend of healing and recovery, but also a weekend with lots to celebrate - that's helping these long hard days pass with just a little bit more ease.
Signing off tonight with a little sunshine for everyone's viewing pleasure:

That Jibjab was too cute! Millie!
