Wild Windy Weather in Wisconsin and Waiting... Day 24

Writing from the VERY Windy Wisconsin today...My Dad woke up at my parents house to our long-time leaning Pine Tree, now in its new location on top of the garage!

Thankfully everyone is safe (My Dad and Milly were actually sleeping on the other side of the house to be safe amidst the nearly 60 MPH hr winds!)
The "tree guy" who told my Dad in June that the infamous leaning pine tree was a very sturdy tree, was there by 7am removing it...so all is back to normal!
60 degree temperatures made yesterday's first time post-transplant 10,000 steps a breeze! Complete with a lightning filled sky and thunder in December - it was actually kind of cool being out in the elements of this strange spring like weather pattern. (Of course despite the very sad reminder of just how real and here Climate Change is).
I've really come to enjoy passing the local Supper Club, the Copper Dock each evening on my walks and peering in through the window to see the Christmas decorated cozy bar full of people enjoying the holiday season. Just dreaming of my first martini sitting at that bar many months from now...If you're ready this blog, consider yourself invited for celebratory drinks, every night, forever, once this is over!
Health Update:
Tomorrow I head back to the hospital for several tests to check out everything in my and blood work. Fingers crossed once again to cross the magical 500 ANC threshold.
The Continued Windy weather today sent me on the Peloton instead of a walk - first day on the bike, realizing just how much strength I've lost this month of treatment and transplant - looking forward to slowing rebuilding that strength in this next phase of recovery
What's Entertaining Us:
Unforgivable on Netflix (Starring Sandra Bullock) We felt it was great week-night, at home movie watching, but would have been disappointed watching in a theater
Fully, 100% hooked and in the world of Lorelai and Rory in the original Gilmore Girls, and smiling with every new episode that starts with Carole King classic
Many movies on deck for the weekend ahead...
What I'm grateful for today:
Enough energy that I've done some cooking this week (with the helpful aid / most of the work done by Raj and my Mom). My famous Lasagna featured below:
Mrs. Manischevitz cooking in the kitchen tonight

Hot Pinkish/Orange Sunsets

Food is looking amazing! Stay strong Jessy. Intrigued by your comment on Unforgivable, we were just discussing whether to watch it.
I would eat that lasagna in an instant. Let's go ANC count, let's do this!
Yum!!! 🤞🏼For tomorrow. And Yikes that tree!!! glad everyone is ok! ❤️
